Our event artists are multi-talented entertainers who are not only fantastic face painters. We also have a team of up to 8 face painters we can put on your event, depending on the size.

UV & Black Light Face Painting

The Face Painter RI UV Black Light Experience is an exciting and unique entertainment package!

Our talented UV face painters in RI can create a wide range of designs perfect for tweens, teens, and adults—from simple, beautiful patterns to edgy graffiti styles. We also offer more traditional face painting options, like superheroes or puppies for younger children.

While no glow-in-the-dark cosmetics have been FDA-approved yet, UV face painting is the next best thing! All you need is a dark space and black lights to make the designs pop. Though we don’t currently rent black lights, you can find them at places like Taylor Rentals or other local party rental services. Keep in mind: the brighter your UV lights, the more vibrant the face paint will appear! Our face painters in RI have worked at numerous events, including nightclubs, indoor mini-golf, and bowling alleys with UV setups. UV face painting is available for events in RI, CT, MA, and NH.

Here’s what you need to know about UV and Black Light face painting:

  1. To customize your experience, you have two package options: hire a face painter with only their supplies/talent, or additionally add a black light rental. (If your venue does not have it’s own black lights, you will need a black light.)
  2. The area should be dark except the black lights, so we recommend outdoors at night (check to see what time the sun goes down that day) or indoors with the lights off.
  3. UV face paint designs are more simple than traditional face paint designs due to the limitations of visibility and pigment, so our ability to create special requests (with logos, school colors, etc) may be limited. Ask our office.
  4. As with all of our other creative entertainment packages, your artists will need adequate tables and chairs.

Balloon Twisting, Henna, Caricatures, and More

Our Face Painter RI artists are all multi-talented entertainers, and we’re proud to offer additional creative services throughout southern New England! Here are a few quick tips for some of our favorite packages.

Balloon Twisting

Balloon twisting is the single most popular add-on to our face painting packages!

For small events, most artists anywhere in RI will have a time minimum (which just makes it worth them taking out the time from their day to head to your event). But with our balloon combo packages, we can raise the value on your experience within the time minimum, so you pay less per guest overall.

For large events, we also have up to 8 artists available for separate balloon twisting and face painting stations.

Henna Tattoos

Henna tattoos are an elegant addition to any event. They’re great for teens and adults, but younger kids may lack the patience to let them dry (and henna often stains when wet).

Our henna tattoo artists can be booked additionally to our face painters either as the same artist (a combo package) or in separate teams / stations for larger events.

Other Temporary Tattoos

We offer glitter tattoos, flash tattoos, and airbrush tattoos for events of all sizes.

These temporary tattoos can be added on top of your single-artist-package for small events, or we can accommodate larger stations for larger events.

Unlike henna tattoos, we recommend these other types of glitter tattoos for all ages. They’re fast to apply and last 2-3 days, so they’re always a hit–especially at huge events!

Caricatures

Caricatures are enjoyed most by ages tween – adults (little guests may have a hard time sitting still) so typically caricatures are booked along side your face painter (two or more separate artists) so that the face painter can entertain younger guests and the caricature artist attend to older kids and adults.

However, several of our RI face painters are trained in both, so a combo package may be appropriate for a tiny gathering. Ask our office what options are best for you.
