Sarah’s journey with art began in childhood, nurtured by early encouragement. Over the years, she has continued to draw strength, courage, and a sense of connection through her creative practice. In 2006, she graduated from FSU in Maryland with a BFA in Painting, Photography, and Art History, where she first recognized the therapeutic nature of creating art—a perspective she still embraces today.

In 2019 Sarah moved to New England and began her residency at the Farmington Valley Arts Center in CT.

In her own work as a visual artist, Sarah enjoys engaging with the creative process through various media, including paint, clay, metal, photography, and installation. For her, each material becomes a tool for reflection and reconnection, allowing her to collaborate with the medium and express what arises in the process.

Sarah has also deepened her artistic and health practice by teaching various groups. Currently, she teaches yoga to groups; is a personal trainer focused on mind-body connection; and conducts private art lessons. She blends her artistic work with yoga, learning to listen to the wisdom of the body and integrating that awareness into her art. Much of her current work emerges from being fully present in the moment, free from the constraints of expectation.

Finally, Sarah began face painting with agency representation at Kaleidoscope in 2023. After getting her footing, she began working as a henna, airbrush, and caricature artist and would love to come entertain at your event.
